The Justıce Watch Was In Izmır
The first Justice Watch after Istanbul was held in Bursa. The second meeting has been hosted by the Izmir Bar Association on 14.03.2019.

The first “Justice Watch” made in Istanbul in 2017 for the release of the Cumhuriyet Newspaper's detained columnists, lawyers and managers. Justice Watch continued 85 weeks in front of the Istanbul Courthouse and the lawyers protested the unlawful practices of the state there. After a short break the Justice Watch started to be made in the different cities of Turkey. The first Justice Watch after Istanbul was held in Bursa. The second meeting has been hosted by the Izmir Bar Association on 14.03.2019.
Hundreds of lawyers from different cities met in Izmir Courthouse, they marched to "Regional Courts of Justice" building together. Lawyers made a press statement there. The presidents and the representatives of Yalova, Bursa Diyarbakır, Van, Aydın, Kocaeli, Antalya, Şanlıurfa, Hatay, Ankara and Mersin Bar Associations made their speeches and declared their call for justice.
The President of the Izmir Bar Association Mr. Özkan Yücel welcomed the guests and said "As the seekers and the defenders of justice, we will never give up, we will never obey, we will never be silenced! I believe that the days that we don't need the Justice Watch will be coming soon."
